The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is a reflection of the philosophy of life in Buddhist culture, which is embodied in the way of salvation for the people suffering from hell and dialectics of his own philosophy. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva originated from Indian Buddhism who known for his vow to take responsibility for the instruction of all beings in the six worlds between the death of Gautama Buddha and the rise of Maitreya, as well as his vow not to achieve Buddhahood until all hells are emptied. He is therefore often regarded as the bodhisattva of hell-beings, as well as the guardian of children and patron deity of deceased children.

In the origin story of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, a woman built a pagoda and went to hell to save her mother who suffered in hell after her death, hoping to rescue her mother from hell, and met the guard on the way to hell. The guard informed her of the horrors of hell, and she resolutely went to rescue her mother and stay in hell forever, hoping to save more people suffering in hell. In the first painting, I went to Death Valley, a national park that is closest to hell in terms of name and topography. Two black doors are slowly opening. The second work I want to show is the scene of people being burned by flames in hell. The last long scroll is a performance of being released from hell. The skirt turns into wings and slowly flies away from hell.People don't know the world after death. Most religious culture and popular culture have detailed descriptions of hell.

In the Divine Comedy, Dante travels to hell. The Satan in the hell and the black and red rocks are all stereotypes of people. In this series of works, I use the principle of symmetry to

visualize ghosts and gods that did not exist before. The human brain will somehow sum all the images that resemble human faces are transformed into a fictional figure. At the same time, it is also a tribute to the sacred shroud of Turin. Symmetry is often used to construct buildings. I think that in large-scale collages, setting up scenes like building buildings is a place I enjoy very much.
