Do you believe there is a life after death? /2018

Death means losing life, ending life, stopping survival, and is the opposite of survival. In philosophy, death is the permanent termination of the life (or thing) system that maintains its loss of its existence (survival) and irreversibility.

Buddhists believe death is a natural part of the life cycle. They believe that death simply leads to rebirth. This belief in reincarnation – that a person's spirit remains close by and seeks out a new body and new life – is a comforting and important principle.

In this project, I interviewed about 20 people for 5 questions about afterlife then shoot a portrait of them. There are 5 out 20 twenty people who dining in IHOP at 3AM in this midnight confirmed with me that they believed in afterlife.

The reason why I want to do this project because my best friend’s grandfather passed away and want to do something for him. In religion, I am Buddhist and I trust in there will be an afterlife.  The using of cyanotype because it invented by medical using for recorded a physical evidence.

I hope I could achieve that let people realize that the life of the body and the life of the soul. The general death is only the death of the body, and the soul just leaves the body, it will continue to exist. Therefore, the death of the body is only a level on the way to life, but it is not the end, just a way of moving forward. Death is just like changing seasons and changing to another season.
